Cyton Humanoid Manipulator Line now has ROS Support

The Robai line of powerful, low-cost, 7-DOF Cyton manipulators now has support for the Robot Operating System (ROS).  ROS is an open source software framework that provides robot related tools and libraries to support advanced robotics applications.  

The ROS Cyton package allows researchers to easily integrate Cyton manipulators with other ROS compliant hardware and software.  Both joint level and end effector (IK) control methods are supported.  Information  is available at http://code.google.com/p/cyton-ros-pkg/
